A professional football team in The Sunshine State has made what some might call a truly gutsy play.

Florida football's Miami Dolphins have announced that it will allow a limited number of fans in the stands when they open their 2020 NFL season.

Fans allowed at the game

All 13,000 fans attending the 'Fins first home game of 2020 will have to adhere to COVID-19 social distancing standards and guidelines.

Attendees will be spread out but will also have to wear a mask to enter into Hard Rock Stadium. Other precautions football fans can expect at the stadium include minimum contact entry and exits, bathrooms with touchless sinks and toilets, as well as mobile ordering and express pick-up.

The Dolphin's season will kick off on September 20 against the Buffalo Bills.
