You may remember Hostess brand snacks being a staple in your lunch box when you were a kid, but if you still enjoy them as an adult, you may want to watch out for any recall announcements.

A food recall in Florida has impacted moldy Hostess Raspberry Zingers, and was also issued in Georgia grocery stores, dollar and discount stores, and many other places across the nation.

This recall does not affect any other Hostess Brands products.


U.S. Food & Drug Administration

The products are being recalled due to the possibility of growing mold before the best by date.

The recall impacts multi-pack frozen, single-serve fresh, and single-serve grocery 3 count Hostess Raspberry Zingers, as well as a variety of other branded products from Walmart and Sam's Club stores across the country.

The safety recall instructs consumers to not eat any more of the product and to contact the store from which they purchased the product to return them for a full refund.

Popular foods are being recalled in Canada including from Loblaws, Zehrs & Co-op brands

The latest recalls include products linked to over 100 salmonella cases. 🫣
