The bizarre scene, even for Florida standards, put an end to the roo's sightseeing excursion.

The creature will be held in "custody," as an investigation is conducted to determine where he came from.

According to the department, "Fort Lauderdale code does not allow exotic animals like this within the city limits."

He will soon be transferred to the Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.
