Jingle bells with a chilling twist! A super creepy Christmas movie filming in Ontario currently has some bizarre mannequin legs scattered around the set. Production will be taking place until the end of the week with residents warned about "potentially disturbing" decorations.

The upcoming flick is listed under the title Letters to Satan Claus and will be filming on July 29 and 30 in Cambridge on the Lower block of Main Street.

According to the city's filming notification, the project was originally scheduled for production back in March and is now underway as they welcome back the film industry.

"'Letters' is a tongue in cheek take on Christmas movies with a dark twist, however the sentiment that love conquers all plays a central theme in this project," the filming notice reads.

"There will be some horror elements involved that may be disturbing to some, in the vicinity of Main Street. Shooting of these scenes will be taking place in the evenings, and the City is requiring that all visually disturbing props are covered when filming is not occurring to minimize the impact on surrounding residents/businesses."

As for special effects, bystanders can expect to see fake snow and "Potentially disturbing 'Christmas' decorations".

That includes some creepy looking naked mannequin legs that CBC posted photos of.

The snaps also show Santa hats, stockings, Christmas lights and trees, an inflatable lawn decoration, giant candy canes, snowflakes, and reindeer.

Sugar Daddies Bakery on 33 Main St. is featured in CBC's photos as a crew member decorates the storefront with holiday decor.

According to IMDb, there's a loaded Canadian cast to look forward to in the horror flick.

Starring actors include Karen Knox (Barbelle), Jessica Clement (Pure), and Joseph Cannata (My Perfect Romance), all hailing from Toronto.

Also on board is Oakville's Miriam McDonald (Degrassi: The Next Generation), BC's Juno Rinaldi (Workin' Moms), Montreal's Daniel Kash (Aliens) and Alex Harrouch (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Ottawa's Michael Xavier (Shazam!), and Pickering's Rashaana Cumberbatch (Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker).

It seems like Cambridge is a popular place for Hollywood productions to take place.

The city's website notes that shows and movies including The Handmaid's Tale, The October Faction, American Gods, Designated Survivor, Murdoch Mysteries, and Silent Hill 2 have previously filmed in the southwestern Ontario hotspot.
