In a post on Narcity Canada's Facebook page, we asked readers to share their most underrated vacation spots in Ontario. One of the recommended locations was this small town, and it's a little slice of paradise.

Bracebridge is nestled in the heart of Muskoka, about two hours from Toronto.

It's a hidden gem with a quaint main street, scenic patios and plenty of outdoor experiences.

According to Discover Muskoka, Bracebridge is known as "the waterfall capital of Muskoka" and is home to five waterfalls, including "three of the area's most beautiful cascades."

The cascades are within a five-minute drive from downtown, and you can embark on a Chasing Waterfalls Tour to visit these stunning natural wonders.

One of the "most famous waterfalls" in the Muskoka region is Bracebidge Falls, which is right downtown. You can also visit High Falls and Wilson's Falls for incredible views.

Aside from chasing waterfalls, Bracebridge offers endless activities, making it an ideal vacation destination. From scenic trails to water sports, shopping, breweries and galleries, there's no shortage of things to do.

Santa's Village is Muskoka's Theme Park and offers a taste of Christmas during the warmer months. There are also a number of boat cruises and historic museums to check out in the area.
