A popular Calgary restaurant has closed its doors following several recent COVID-19 cases.

On Thursday, July 16, the Calgary Herald reported that the downtown location of Cactus Club Cafe has been confirmed as the source of six COVID-19 cases.

While AHS has not mandated it, we have decided to voluntarily close this location out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health of everyone.

Guests who visited the spot between July 2 and July 10 are advised to keep an eye on their symptoms and get tested if needed.

The restaurant is in the process of deep-cleaning its premises and they plan to reopen sometime next week.

A Kelowna location of the chain has also been linked to a COVID-19 case in British Columbia.
