B.C. Freedom Mega Rally 2020

Neither B.C. nor Vancouver currently have laws in place mandating vaccines or maks.

The event is partly a legal action fundraiser for Action 4 Canada, which they describe on their website as a "grassroots movement" that opposes "the destructive policies tearing at the fabric of this nation."

There will be many speakers over the two-day long event that will take over the city's biggest venue for protests.

According to posts on Facebook from one of the event's organizers, a matching convoy of protesters several cars long appears to be approaching the city.

Vancouver has seen anti-mask protests during the COVID-19 pandemic began and this one could be shaping up to be one of the largest.
