Wreck Beach is a hot spot in the city during the summer, but it's now a hot spot of a different kind since it's the site of potential COVID-19 exposure in Vancouver.

According to Vancouver Coastal Health, the nudist-friendly Wreck Beach had an exposure event on Saturday, August 15 — anyone who visited during that time should self-monitor for symptoms, they said.

If you remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate.

This coincides with a massive party in the nudist paradise that same day, according to several posts on Twitter and Instagram.

B.C. is in the middle of a spike in new COVID-19 cases, with people between the ages of 20-29 making up the brunt of the wave and on Friday, August 28 they reported their highest single-day case count ever.

However, after installing heavier fines for partiers recently, the province might be able to flatten its curve again.
