Love in the time of COVID-19 is strange and our province's health officials are literally recommending that we all use glory holes in B.C.

According to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control's guidelines on sex, getting it on has a risk of transmitting the novel coronavirus to your partner.

Use barriers, like walls (e.g., glory holes), that allow for sexual contact but prevent close face-to-face contact.

Instead, they're recommending you do the deed through "glory holes," or small holes cut into barriers allowing sex without the rest of your bodies touching.

They also recommend washing your body with soap and water, sticking to one partner if possible, wearing a mask, and limiting saliva exchange.

While they acknowledge sex is super important for mental and social health, there's a safe way to engage in the act too.
