Plug your noses! The Toronto Zoo has just announced that a rare flower is about to bloom this month and it will smell like a corpse.

The corpse plant in Toronto is expected to release its stench by next Wednesday.

"What's that smell? For the second time at the Toronto Zoo, a corpse plant (Amorphophallus titanum) is projected to bloom in the next week!" wrote a statement from the zoo.

However, the smell won't last long. The plant only stays in bloom for 8 to 36 hours.

Currently, you can find the corpse plant in the zoo's greenhouse, which is now open to visitors.*

This is the second time that a plant like this has bloomed in the GTA.

Back in 2018, the plant's forerunner also opened up at the Toronto Zoo.
