Toronto, it's time. The Ontario government has just announced that stage three in Toronto and Peel will start this Friday.

As of July 31 at 12:01 a.m., bars, dine-in restaurants, movie theatres and more will be able to open their doors in both cities.

Date Toronto and Peel will enter stage three

According to a press release, the announcement has been made after both regions showed "positive local trends" when it comes to cases of COVID-19.

"While more restaurants, theatres and businesses can hang up their Open for Business sign, we're asking everyone to follow public health advice and act responsibly," Premier Doug Ford stated.

Toronto and Peel will join the 31 other regions that have already entered stage 3.

However, Windsor-Essex will still remain in stage two.
