Ontario gas prices are predicted to drop tomorrow, and if you live in these two Ontario cities, you might want to hold off on filling up.

Why you should care: Gas analyst Dan McTeague predicts that gas prices on Thursday are set to increase by two cents in most cities, with two spots that might see a seven-cent increase, which means driving through this snowstorm might be costly.

ICYMI: Tomorrow's predictions for a price increase come one day after McTeague said the cost of gas will finally decrease after over a week of disappointing news.

For the first time since the start of January, gas prices were predicted to drop today and sit at 140.9 cents per litre in most cities, ending the rising trend — but it seems that the good news only lasted one day because McTeague now predicts a change in pattern.

What comes next: Gas Wizard predicts that cities like Toronto, Brampton, Windsor, Kingston and Ottawa are expected to see 142.9 cents per litre at gas stations in the area.

Peterborough will still be the cheapest Ontario city for gas, sitting at 129.9 cents per litre after a predicted three-cent increase on Thursday. Cornwall is the second cheapest city, with motorists expected to see 135.9 cents per litre.

Meanwhile, the cities with the most significant increase tomorrow are Sudbury and Thunder Bay, which also typically record low prices.

In Thunder Bay, the seven-cent increase will put the city at 136.9 cents per litre, while Sudbury will be at 141.9 cents per litre, which is close to the other Ontario cities, which can expect to see 142.9 cents per litre at the pumps.
