Fancy a trip to Europe? There's no need to spend your savings on a pricey plane ticket. This charming Ontario village with cobblestone streets and quaint shops will have you feeling like you're on vacation.

Blue Mountain Village is a four-season getaway spot located near Collingwood, about 2.5 hours from Toronto. It's known for its year-round attractions and events and gorgeous mountain scenery.

The pedestrian village has cobblestone streets lined with colourful shops and eateries, making it look like the front of a European postcard.

There's lots to enjoy while visiting this destination. You can spend your day checking out the shops, getting pampered at one of the spas, playing at the arcade and enjoying a drink on a sun-filled patio.

If you're up for an adventure, head to the Mountain Coaster, which takes you flying through a scenic forest. You can also try out the aerial course, ride the gondola and take a dip at Plunge! Aquatic Center.

The area features beautiful hikes, as well as seasonal events and activities such as skiing.

With European vibes and endless activities, Blue Mountain Village is a beautiful spot for a getaway without leaving the province.
