Don't Cancel Your Disney Plans Just Yet, Gov Says Central Florida Could Be In 'Good Shape'

It could soon be safe to visit Mickey and friends.

You might want to keep those Disney plans after all. 

Speaking in Orange County on Friday, July 17, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said that the region is trending in a positive direction, as long as everyone follows the rules. 

I think they'll be in pretty good shape by next month.

During the press conference, he also said that the novel coronavirus rates are "stabilizing" throughout Central Florida.

Florida recorded more than 11,000 new cases on Friday, with Orange County, the location of most of the state's major theme parks, reporting 21,708 overall cases.
