Calling all thrill seekers! If you're looking for fun and exciting things to do in Ottawa and you crave that feeling of blood rushing through your veins, you're in luck.

What if I told you that just a 30-minute drive from Ottawa is the tallest bungee jump in all of Canada? What's more, your leap of faith will have you plummeting toward a gorgeous lake with sparkling turquoise waters and an underwater plane wreck below its surface.

It sounds like something out of an adventurous trip to a faraway land, but no — it's even accessible by an hour-and-a-half ride on public transit from downtown Ottawa.

The Great Canadian Bungee is located within the otherworldly Morrison's Quarry, an old mining quarry that has since been filled with unbelievable turquoise waters. On top of being a popular destination for adrenaline seekers, it's a beloved swimming spot and is used as a practice diving site.

A handful of things have been thrown in to give divers something to explore, including a small plane, a tugboat and a couple of cars. All of this makes for a pretty gnarly scene from the jumping platform 200 feet above.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience can be all yours for $180 (including tax), and if you can't get enough, you can do a second jump for an additional $90.

If taking that thrilling 15-storey jump sounds a bit too daring for you, no need to worry — for $40, you can zipline across the picturesque quarry instead.

And if even that sounds a bit too much, there's always the sandy Morrison's Quarry Beach, where you can lounge around while watching your friends take the ultimate leap of faith.

If you're a part of a crew of thrill-seeking hooligans, consider going with a group of six or more and it's only $150 per person to plunge into the unknown.
