Students from one Ontario high school will be required to stay at home once again. On Wednesday, Fellowes High School in Pembroke confirmed that the facility is closing until further notice, after reporting three cases of COVID-19.

The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) told CTV News that the decision came after a third case was found to be linked to two previous cases at the school.

The situation at the high school is considered to be an outbreak and was declared as such on Tuesday evening.

For the time being, students will be able to continue classes online. In-person lessons will resume following approval from the local public health agency.

This comes as education facilities across Ontario, particularly in Ottawa, continue to report new cases of COVID-19.
