There's a brand new sunflower farm near Ottawa to add to your radar, and it's opening its sunny fields on July 23.

Fields Of Gold is located an hour from the city in Monkland, and it boasts 20 acres of stunning sunflowers and four trails through the fields.

You can wander through the blooms, explore the trails, and select a fresh-cut bouquet to bring home with you.

There is also the option to book a private pod, which allows you to plan a special experience that can include anything from photography to a bring-your-own-brunch luxury picnic.

Tickets are already available online, so it's time to plan that weekend getaway to this stunning new field.
