You don't need to buy a plane ticket to experience Caribbean-blue waters and tropical-like waves. This Ontario destination will transport you to another world without a flight or car ride.

Tour bus agency Parkbus is offering trips from Toronto to Lion's Head from June to October 2025.

The area boasts crystal-clear waters, dramatic limestone cliffs and stunning views, making it a gorgeous spot for a day trip.

According to Parkbus, Lion's Head Nature Reserve is "one of the most beautiful places in Eastern North America," and one of their favourite destinations.

The bus arrives at the Village of Lion's Head, where you'll venture along the Bruce Trail to Lion's Head Lookout.

Along the way, you'll pass several 10,000-year-old geological formations, such as giant potholes and caverns in the limestone. The lookout itself boasts is "one of the most beautiful spots in Canada" and gazes over serene turquoise waters.

If you're staying in Lion's Head overnight, you can head down to McKay Harbour, where you'll find a scenic rocky beach and clear but cold waters to swim in.

You can also enjoy the sandy beach in the Village or an early dinner at Lion's Head Inn if you return from the hike early.

The bus trip takes about 4 hours one way and leaves from Toronto at 8:30 a.m. It arrives back in Toronto at 10:30 p.m. the same day.

With gorgeous views and Caribbean-like waters, this destination is an incredible spot to explore without a car.
