There are so many hikes around the province that you could do a different one every single day of summer.

If you’ve been itching to get out of the house then we have one for you.

Parker Ridge Trail is located near Improvement District No. 9, and it features some of the best views. If you're not sure where that is, it's between Banff and Jasper.

This five-kilometre trail has a waterfall, birds-eye views, and even fields of colourful wildflowers.

The hike is relatively simple to get to and the trailhead is clearly marked along the Icefields Parkway, north of Bridal Falls.

If you think the drive to the hike is otherworldly, just you wait.

The hike is considered moderate in difficulty so be sure to bring your best hiking footwear, water, and maybe a snack or two.

While it's considered to be on the easier side, it's steep so prepare for heavy breathing and a good cardio workout.

Much like any hike, the main attraction is the peak.

The views from the peak are gorgeous and as you look down, you'll get to see the Saskatchewan Glacier unlike you’ve ever seen it before.

There's also a turquoise, glacier-fed lake to gaze upon while you’re up there.

Even though the views from the top are the main attraction, take your time hiking.

Along the walk are fields filled with dozens of wildflowers.

While they look intriguing, be sure to leave them where they are so everyone can enjoy them.

The flowers come in every colour imaginable including pink, purple, yellow, and orange.

Just because you shouldn't pluck them doesn't mean you can't take pictures of them.

If your dog is up for the challenge, consider bringing them along. It’s a great way for them to stretch their legs and they’ll love the views just as much.

The hike isn’t too long so it should only take you about two and a half hours to hike there and back.

Take our time and scope out all the magical spots along the way. All Trials says that there is even a waterfall so be sure to keep your eyes, and ears, on the lookout.

This trail can be accessed all year long but the prime months to go are during the summer when the wildflowers are blooming and you don’t have to worry about slippery snow.
