President's Choice Asked Which PC Product It Should Bring Back & Fans Had Some Tasty Ideas

We all miss certain things from our childhood, whether it's a Halloween candy they don't make anymore, a defunct Tim Hortons Timbit flavour or a snack from the grocery store that you simply can't find anywhere in 2023.

But what if you could get Loblaws to restock that nostalgic meal you haven't seen since you were a kid?

President's Choice recently asked their customers which items they'd like to see return to Canadian grocery stores, and people got quite nostalgic with their answers on Facebook. In fact, there are so many great ideas that we're really hoping PC makes a few of them come true.

"What's a PC product we need to bring back?" they asked on Facebook. Over the course of a few days, the post now has over 14,000 comments, with people sharing what they miss the most.

One of the most-liked comments was from someone who wants Memories of Hong Kong to come back because "It's the best sauce for potstickers," they shared. Several others seconded that idea.

Another user said: "Please bring back your Salmon Wellington and Chicken Wellington! I still miss them and they were SO good!!"

Others shouted out their favourite condiments. One commenter said: "Mango salad dressing. There was something else in it too, can't remember what but it was AMAZING!"

A PC spokesperson replied and said, "So good! Adds some zing!"

One user got over 200 likes by asking for the return of the PC Cooking School, a program that helped adults and children learn how to cook.

"My kid grew up in the cooking school," wrote on parent. "First sleeping in the stroller, then colouring followed by paying attention ('mom, let's buy the stuff & make these at home' at age 4 about crab cakes!) and even attended the kids' classes. He's an adult now and has the most sophisticated palate of anyone I know! I have a very full binder of every chef's recipe we sampled! Great memories!"

Others shouted out grocery store items such as PC's butter chicken lasagna, peanut butter crackle ice cream, lychee pop, smokin' stampede chicken wings, and so many more.

Loblaw owns the PC brand and you can find it on the shelves at its various stores, including the Real Canadian Superstore, Loblaws, No Frills and more. They've been around for a long time and they have versions of just about everything, including some foods that are better than the competition.

For example, we recently taste-tested all the mac and cheese brands at Loblaws, and the PC white cheddar option came out on top. We also tried all the chocolate chip cookie options at the store and once again, PC won the taste test.

If either of those options disappeared, we'd definitely be be in the comments on this Facebook post.
