This Ontario spa hidden amidst snow-covered trees was named among the best in North America

Who's ready to get pampered? This majestic Ontario spa is nestled in a snow-covered forest and will have you feeling like you've stepped into a snow globe. The destination just ranked among the best in North America and it's worth a winter road trip.

Spas of America has released its list of America's Top 100 Spas of 2024. The roundup highlights facilities across Mexico, Canada and the U.S. that stood out as top destinations for rest and relaxation.

In order to compile the list, Spas of America looked at Google Analytics data from January 1 to December 31, 2024. The spas were chosen based on factors including unique page views and Google Review ratings.

Fifteen Canadian spas were featured on the list, including Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain.

Located about 2 hours from Toronto in the Collingwood area, the wellness destination is a magical spot to unwind. According to the website, "the spa is nestled within a 25-acre parcel of natural hardwood forest with expansive views of the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve Niagara Escarpment."

You can experience the spa's thermal journey, which features "outdoor hot pools, cold plunges, waterfalls, saunas, steam room and cozy relaxation areas surrounded by a forest-setting."

You can also book a massage and explore the scenic Forest Bathing Trail.

The spa is open year-round, offering vibrant foliage views in the fall, sunshine in the summer and a snowy wonderland in the colder months.

Other Ontario destinations featured in America's Top 100 Spas of 2024 include Ste. Anne's Spa in Grafton.
