If you're looking for some rest and relaxation this winter, you're in luck. A Nordic spa with sparkling lake views is opening in the province and it's a dreamy oasis with hot soak pools and waterfalls.

Nestled on the shining shores of West Lake in Prince Edward County, the destination features a range of luxurious amenities and treatments that will have you feeling totally pampered.

Wander The Spa, located just over 2 hours from Toronto at Wander The Resort, is Ontario's first-ever lakefront Nordic spa. The spa was first announced back in the spring and now has an official opening date of January 18, 2025.

"Wander The Spa was built to give our guests what we all desperately need, a place to disconnect and reconnect. Somewhere to experience time standing still for a moment, designed to be an oasis of intention and restoration," Shannon Hunter, owner at Wander, said in a press release.

"Opening the first-ever lakefront Nordic spa in Ontario has been years in the making and, together with our award-winning restaurant Gather, culminates the Wander experience of peace and connection."

Tucked away below ground level and surrounded by tall grasses, the venue boasts a 10,000 square foot thermotherapy circuit complete with a 32-seat sauna, steam room, hot soak pool, cold plunges, lounges and more.

You can unwind in the temperate dip pool with year-round waterfall views and cozy fireplaces.

The spa is also home to Whisper Beach on West Lake where you'll find 200 feet of exclusive waterfront, a natural cold plunge experience, two more saunas and cozy Hygge Huts.

There are two treatment rooms where you can book reiki or a relaxation massage.

Wander The Spa is one of the few in the province to offer onsite accommodations, making it an idyllic spot for a weekend getaway.

Bookings for the spa are now open and start at $95 per person.
