Located about 3 and a half hours away from Windsor, the Michigan town boasts gorgeous sunsets, quaint streets and crystal waters to enjoy.

You can spend your days exploring the attractions, basking on the soft-sand shores and checking out the scenic lighthouse.

Grand Haven is a quaint community nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan. According to Pure Michigan, the area is famous "for its soft-sand beaches, picturesque lighthouse, and musical fountain."

There are several beaches to enjoy while in the area.

One of the most popular is Grand Haven State Park, where you'll find the Grand Haven south pier, gorgeous lighthouses and a 2.5 mile boardwalk.

North Beach Park is another spot to check out and features picnic tables, sandy shores, crystal waves, dune stairs and a deck where you can gaze over Lake Michigan.

You can also head to Grand Haven City Beach and enjoy a large sandy shoreline and a beachfront restaurant.

Other attractions to check out in Grand Haven include the Musical Fountain, where you'll see 90,000 gallons of water synchronized to a display of water, lights and music.

The Grand Haven Boardwalk is another fun spot to visit and is lined with shops, restaurants and more.
