Edmonton Is Getting A Drive-In & Beer Garden For Hockey Fans To Watch The Playoffs
Watch the games live!
Edmonton hockey fans might not be able to pile in at the arena this year but they can still expect a special experience for the playoffs.
On Tuesday, July 21, Oilers Entertainment Group announced they're creating a physically-distanced drive-in outdoor venue where fans can watch the upcoming NHL Playoffs. This venue has been named the "FanFest Zone."

Tim Shipton told CBC News that the drive-in outdoor space would feature a beer garden.
It will be set up where the former Baccarat Casino used to be — at the intersection of 104 Avenue and 101 Street in the city's downtown core.
For now, the Oilers plan to air about 80 games scheduled in the playoffs but if they see that the event is popular among the fans, they might screen more.
