Starbucks' new drink is only around for a few days but here's how to order it year-round

Starbucks has debuted a fun new menu item for St. Patrick's Day, and although it's only available in Canada from March 12 to 17, there seems to be a hack on how to get it year-round.

On Tuesday, the coffee retailer announced the launch of a delicious frap — and of course it's green!

"Right on the heels of spring launch, Starbucks is introducing a NEW Frappuccino that will make your St. Patrick’s Day extra prosperous," said the company.

The new drink is called The Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino and it's available in the Starbucks app, in stores and for delivery, for a limited time, while supplies last.

"Inspired by a pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow, the beverage features sweet and creamy matcha, with milk and ice blended together and topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce and a crunchy caramel-sugar topping for a decadently delicious treat," they say of the new frap.

If you can't make it to the store during the drinks run, on Reddit, there's some advice floating around on r/starbucks on how to achieve the drink.

"It's a matcha creme frap with caramel syrup. I'd recommend it with the dark caramel, it's a lot tastier," advised one user. "Standard amounts of matcha for cup size and standard pumps of caramel for cup size (cold bar half pumps iirc). When I did it with the dark caramel I did full pumps of that though."

Sounds like a delicious way to enjoy the seasonal treat year round!

While you're there, you might also want to try out the Oleato olive oil drinks or the new spring line-up of beverages — I've tried them all and they're seriously yummy.
