As a census Field Operations Manager, you will work to:

  • contribute to the development of operational plans for census data collection activities
  • organize, oversee, and control census field collection within the assigned area
  • manage census field operations for a seven-day collection operation
  • manage employees and the financial, human, and material resources for the assigned area
  • develop and implement collection strategies and contingency plans
  • analyze and produce reports on the progress of collection activities.
  • respond to and resolve complaints
  • supervise a team of Field Operations Supervisors and an administrative assistant
  • oversee a large workforce in a decentralized and virtual environment

Statistics Canada is looking to staff full-time positions in the western and eastern regions.

It's required that you have:

  • experience planning and managing projects
  • experience managing financial, human and material resources
