The job duties include:

  • assisting management with operations through administrative support
  • planning meetings, training sessions and conference calls
  • organizing logistics using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • creating reports and charts, graphs and other documentation
  • reviewing and responding to inquiries
  • liaising with the Travel Clerk to coordinate employee travel and expense claims
  • processing and following up on administrative requests

For these Statistics Canada census jobs, the salary is $57,217 to $61,761.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and the Northwest Territories are allowed to apply.

You must have successfully completed two years of high school or have an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.

Also, you need experience in:

  • providing general administrative support services in a physical or virtual office
  • performing computer functions (including sending emails, organizing virtual meetings, and using word processing and spreadsheet apps)

It's required that you have a secure private area to make confidential phone calls and have reliable internet access at your residence.

You also must be able to travel occasionally and work overtime depending on operational needs.
