Whether we like it or not, winter is coming and that means it’s almost time to start humming Christmas carols and basking in hundreds of twinkling lights.

Luckily, you can do just that in November at the Burlington Festival of Lights.

The annual light display is set to return to Spencer Smith Park this November 27 and will feature 60 whimsical displays.

Wander through 60 whimsical light displays

The festival will run until January 8, 2021, from 4 p.m. until midnight every day.

On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Orthodox Christmas, and New Year's Eve, the lights will stay on all day and night.

This year, the festival has introduced a few changes.

The opening ceremony has been cancelled and physical distancing signs placed in the park will help visitors admire the lights safely.

The festival is also encouraging visitors to try the drive-by viewing option from Lakeshore Road, so you can take in the sparkling views from the comfort of your car.

The event is free and yes, you can bring your dog with you too.

And if you can’t get enough holiday cheer, don’t forget to check out the Niagara’s enchanting Winter Lights Festival, also returning in November.
