A TikToker Shared Her First CosMc's Visit & McDonald's Canada Needs To Open One ASAP

McDonald's just opened the first restaurant under its new spinoff CosMc's brand, and the early few videos will get you super hyped for their eventual expansion into Canada.
If you love Starbucks or Tim Hortons, you will definitely be running to the door of a CosMc's at your next opportunity. The fast food chain promises a streamlined experience that is focused on elevated juices and coffees, along with a lineup of smaller snacks, according to the McDonald's press release.
It's basically meant to take on Starbucks and Tim's as a stand-alone brand rather than pushing you to visit a McDonald's. The menu also features a bunch of drinks they don't have the gear to make at the main burger joint.
McDonald's opened its very first CosMc's in Bolingbrook, Illinois this month, with more to come in Texas in 2024, and then eventually expand to the rest of the world.
That all means you'll have to wait a bit to try CosMc's for yourself, although thanks to social media, we dreamers can get a taste of what the brand is offering.
One TikToker recently went viral with her story about flying from the U.K. to Illinois to try CosMc's, and while it was a long way to go, she did not regret it one bit.
"Make sure you book that flight to Chicago, come down to Bolingbrook, Illinois, and make sure you try the first CosMc's in the world," Tanya Micheal said.

The content creator tried the Tropical Spiceade, Sour Cherry Energy Burst, Island Pick-Me-Up Punch and Churro Frappe. Michael's favourite was the Churro Frappe which she described as "unreal!"
However, the TikToker's top menu item was the McPop, which might remind you of a Tim Hortons donut.
There are three McPop flavours: Cookie Butter, Apple Cinnamon and Hazelnut and they look so good.

CosMc's menu is filled with a whole bunch of other treats such as a Spicy Queso Sandwich, Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich and the traditional McDonald's breakfast sandwiches.
The beverage list is also overwhelmingly loaded with iced coffees, teas, lattes, slushies, frappes, iced teas, lemonades and boosts. It actually looks closer to a Starbucks menu than a McCafe one.
The restaurant also promises to offer plenty of customization and easy payment options through the drive-thru.

So when will this be in your city?
McDonald's states that it will open about 10 CosMc's pilot locations over the course of 2024, particularly in the Dallas-Forth Worth and San Antonio metro areas.
That means you'll probably have to wait until 2025 for CosMc's to arrive in Canada, although there's a good track record of Canada following U.S. success. After all, it took a year for Canada to get an adult Happy Meal after it was a hit in the U.S.
In the meantime, you could always head south and try CosMc's for yourself.
