You don’t see this every day. There’s a new movie filming in Toronto and what appeared to be a water buffalo (and/or an elephant?) was spotted on set Monday, August 10.
According to a story shared on "The Regulars" podcast, Toronto-based comedian Stacey McGunnigle was walking the trails at the Scarborough Bluffs around 3:30 p.m. when she accidentally stumbled onto a film set.

McGunnigle was walking her dogs along a swampy trail when she noticed a bunch of pylons that are typically used on movie sets.
What she saw next was unexpected, to say the least.
“This guy comes up from the (movie) crew, I look up and there’s a f**king elephant,” McGunnigle exclaimed on the podcast.
Following McGunnigle’s wild encounter, one of the film's cast members, Marianna Phung, shared some on-set photos in an Instagram story.
One of them revealed what appears to be a massive water buffalo rolling in the water at the base of the Bluffs.
It’s unclear if there are multiple animals on the set or if the sheer size of the buffalo made it look like an elephant.
One thing is for sure, though: you don't see this sort of thing in Scarborough every day.
The movie in question is called The Swan, and according to IMDB, it's set to come out this December.
According to an article in My North Bay Now, the film "will follow the real-life journey of dancer Tia Zhang starting in 1949."
Aside from the Bluffs, the film crew has also apparently been spotted by residents at James Gardens in Etobicoke.
Stumbling onto film sets in the GTA is nothing new.
In fact, Hamilton, Ontario, recently underwent a total transformation in order to film season two of The Umbrella Academy.
And we get our fair share of odd animal sightings as well, like the recent action-movie saga of Toronto's cutest crane raccoon.
But it’s not every day you see something as out of place as a water buffalo (or an elephant?) roaming in the city.
