If you live in the 6ix, chances are you've bumped into Toronto raccoons before. But what about a litter of newborn babies?

According to Gates' Wildlife Control, a bunch of tiny trash pandas were discovered in the basement of a Scarborough residence on Wednesday.

The adorable discovery was made after the company's vice president was called to investigate "noises" coming from a fireplace.

"In our 36 year history we have not seen baby raccoons being born this soon in February," Gates' Wildlife stated.

The babies were reportedly left in the fireplace to avoid exposing them to frigid temperatures.

"Our baby reunion boxes are equipped with a heating pad to keep the babies warm, [but] when the outside temperatures are as cold as they are today we choose not to expose the babies to any potential harm."

The critters were left in the care of their mother, who will keep them warm until it is safe to extract them.

Raccoon break-ins are nothing new. Back in 2019, a small army of them had to be removed from a Toronto home.
