LCBO Employees Have Tested Positive For COVID-19 In Almost Every Part Of The GTA

Toronto, Scarborough and Mississauga have all reported cases.

As the pandemic continues to spread across Ontario, LCBO COVID-19 cases have been on the rise. 

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario has reported that multiple staff members have tested positive for the disease across the province since October 2, 2020. 

The latest case in the GTA was confirmed on Saturday at a store in Markham.

The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization.  LCBO

The LCBO, located at Bullock Dr., confirmed that the infected employee is currently self-isolating at home.

Other recent GTA cases include stores in Vaughan, Scarborough, Toronto, and Mississauga. 

An LCBO located at 785 Milner Ave. in Scarborough confirmed one of its members had tested positive for the disease on October 26, 2020.

According to the LCBO page, 11 employees in the GTA have tested positive since the start of October.*

Last week, Shoppers Drug Mart reported that over a dozen of its employees had also tested positive for the disease.

Those cases occurred across Ontario between October 25, 2020, and November 3, 2020.
