Niagara's Power Station Has Transformed Into A Stunning Light Show & Here's A First Look

Ontario's latest attraction is finally here and you can step into a whole other world. The new show will make Niagara's Power Station transform with dazzling lights and sounds that will transport you back in time.
"Currents: Niagara's Power Transformed" will open to the public on Friday, September 3 and here is a first look inside.

Originally known as the "Canadian Niagara Power Company generating station," this local spot used Horseshoe Falls to generate electricity for over 100 years.

Now, you can wander through the historic building at night as twinkling lights flow throughout every inch of the station and bring the story of Niagara's power to life.

Produced by Thinkwell Studio Montreal, the show will surround you with flowing water, bustling cityscapes and a variety of other jaw-dropping scenes.

The stunning experience is also interactive, as twinkling lights follow your every move. You can wander around the building as glowing orbs jump from one foot to the next.

The experience is broken up into three acts. Act 1: The Beginning will show cascading waters fill up the room as it creates what we now know as Niagara Falls.

Act 2 will emerge you into the story of how the power of the mighty water was harnessed with the machinery around the building coming to life. Act 3 will let you generate your own electricity by exploring the space before the dazzling show comes to an end.
