Ontario Editor

Ontario's latest attraction is finally here and you can step into a whole other world. The new show will make Niagara's Power Station transform with dazzling lights and sounds that will transport you back in time.

"Currents: Niagara's Power Transformed" will open to the public on Friday, September 3 and here is a first look inside.

Allysha Howse | Narcity

Originally known as the "Canadian Niagara Power Company generating station," this local spot used Horseshoe Falls to generate electricity for over 100 years.

Now, you can wander through the historic building at night as twinkling lights flow throughout every inch of the station and bring the story of Niagara's power to life.

Produced by Thinkwell Studio Montreal, the show will surround you with flowing water, bustling cityscapes and a variety of other jaw-dropping scenes.

The experience is broken up into three acts. Act 1: The Beginning will show cascading waters fill up the room as it creates what we now know as Niagara Falls.
