Check those jacket pockets, folks!

Somewhere in Ontario, one lucky person is a millionaire and they may not even know it.

An Ontario lottery ticket from February 2020 worth $1 million still hasn't been claimed, and its expiration date is coming up soon.

$1,000,000 Lottery ticket's worth

The ticket was purchased in Burlington, Ontario, on February 25, 2020.

The OLG says the ticket was for the Lotto Max draw, and possibly was played with Quick Pick and Encore.

The ticket is listed on the OLG's Unclaimed Tickets website, where the company posts unclaimed tickets of prizes worth over $10,000.

Purchasers have one year from the draw date to claim their ticket and prove they bought it before the prize money expires.

There are 30 tickets listed on the site, with a total value of over $4.5 million dollars.

Three tickets are worth $1 million — the one in Burlington, and two more in Cambridge and Markham that expire in April 2021 and June 2021 respectively.

A spokesperson from the OLG told Narcity that if tickets from LOTTO MAX or LOTTO 6/49 aren't claimed, the money will go back to future players through bonus games or promotions.
