The Ontario weather forecast is predicting a gloomy end to April this week as thunderstorms, hail and strong winds sweep across parts of the province.

According to the Weather Network, an incoming surge in temperature is going to do more harm than good on Tuesday, creating the perfect atmosphere for stormy weather.

The messy conditions will continue into Wednesday as a cold front pushes into the GTA, bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms to Toronto.

As if that wasn't bad enough, TWN is also reporting that the warm-up won't even survive long enough to become enjoyable,

"A few days of warmer weather are expected next week, with the potential to reach 20°C during the middle of the week. However, at this point it does not look like we will see consistent warmth during early May," Dr. Doug Gillham, TWN meteorologist, said.
