Pascal Siakam has apparently been hit with a hefty fine for a verbal altercation with Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, according to sources of The Athletic.

The exchange occurred after The Raptors' 8th straight loss on Sunday night, a game that saw the team lose by 11 points.

According to reports by The Athletic, heated words were directed at Nurse by Siakam while leaving the floor.

Now, the basketball star has reportedly been fined $50,000 by the NBA.

Narcity has reached out to The Raptors' PR chief for a statement on the incident and will update the story accordingly.

Just last week, Nurse himself was fined $50,000 for throwing his mask into the crowd and uttering profanities after a game — it looks like the Raptors' losing streak might be getting to them.
