Rick Mercer Says To Imagine Ford Is Watching You If You Hook-Up During Ontario's Lockdown

"And imagine the disappointment on his face."
Ontario Editor

Canadian comedian, Rick Mercer, has a special message to anyone thinking about hooking up during Ontario's stay-at-home order.

In a video that was posted on Twitter this Friday, Mercer warns anyone who's tempted to leave their home for some action to just imagine that Doug Ford is watching you.

"Doug Ford is personally imploring you to not hook up and if you are tempted to do so, just imagine Doug in the room with you, just six feet away in a hazmat suit," says Mercer.

"And he's watching you. And imagine the disappointment on his face. Don't do it."

The message is directed towards those who are between the ages of 18 to 29, who the comedian claims are in the lead for getting COVID-19 and passing it on.

"Stay home, stay safe, save lives," Mercer concludes.

This video is the first in a campaign that has been launched by the Ontario government to encourage people to stay home.

According to a release, Ontario influencers will be using the hashtag #StayHomeON while posting messages throughout lockdown.
