If passed, the motion, which is set to be reviewed on December 16, would allow Santa to travel freely to Toronto this Christmas.
"So that his annual mission safely delivering joy to children around the world is not in any way impinged," the City adds.
The recommendation adorably argues that Santa won't be hard to identify due to his signature red suit, hat and boots.

Several other countries including Ireland, Belgium and Australia have taken steps to exempt Kris Kringle from COVID-19 restrictions.
