Someone Was Just Shot ‘More Than 5 Times’ While Driving On Highway 401 (VIDEO)

Police are investigating a shooting on the 401 on Monday morning which left a motorist with injuries. 

The incident happened at 9:28 a.m. on the westbound lane in Scarborough near Meadowvale, Toronto Police report.

All ramps 401 HWY W. from Meadowvale Rd, Port Union Rd +Rylander Rd are closed.

The suspect fled the scene immediately and has still not been tracked down. 

The victim is suffering non-life-threatening injuries and the police are investigating at this time.

NEWSTALK1010 reports that the man was shot "more than 5 times."

All ramps from Meadowvale, Port Union, and Rylander are currently closed.
