Sip, sip, hooray! These Toronto bars were just named among the best in North America for 2024, making them perfect spots for your next night out.

The 50 Best just revealed its list of North America's 50 Best Bars 2024 and several Toronto establishments made the list.

The roundup spans 21 destinations from Canada to the Caribbean and features everything from fancy cocktail bars to hidden oases tucked away in a rainforest.

Next time you're planning a night out in Toronto, you'll want to head to these bars that were named among the 50 best in North America.

Three Toronto bars earned a spot on the list, and one was even named The Best Bar in Canada.

Coming in at number 40 is Bar Mordecai. According to The 50 Best, it's "designed to feel like a hotel lobby from a Wes Anderson film" and is B"suitably cinematic in everything it does."

It offers "Toronto's most electric mash-up of tapas and cocktails" as well as classic drinks and shareable snacks. You can even unleash your inner star in one of the venue's funky karaoke rooms.

Bar Pompette earned a spot at number 29 on the list. Tucked away in Little Italy, the venue "elicits the joyful feeling of sitting in a French café or bar," according to The 50 Best.

It features a cozy little bar that will whisk you away to Europe as well as Insta-worthy drinks and live music on certain days.

Civil Liberties ranked at number 21, earning it the title of The Best Bar in Canada.

"Civil Liberties has become a Toronto favourite that serves both cheap beers and craft cocktails with just as much pride and care," The 50 Best said.

You won't find a menu at this spot. The bartenders will create a unique cocktail just for you based on your likes and dislikes, so you'll be in for a surprise.

Another Toronto bar earned some recognition by The 50 Best. Simpl Things received the Campari One To Watch Award 2024 and was praised for its "transformative, dual-concept wizardry."

The venue "feels like a sun-soaked Mediterranean bistro" by day and transforms with "an entirely new menu of neo-Chinese street food snacks" come nightfall.
