As Toronto COVID-19 cases continue to rise, it seems that some neighbourhoods are getting hit harder than others. 

In fact, one spot in the 6ix has hundreds of more recent cases than surrounding neighbourhoods.

284 Number of active cases in Downsview-Roding

According to the City of Toronto data, Downsview-Roding currently has 284 recent cases, which have been reported in the past 21 days.*

This one spot has 279 more than Runnymede-Bloor West Village, which has only had five recent cases.

Downsview-Roding also has 273 more than Blake-Jones.*

While this area is currently the spot with the most COVID-19 cases in the city, others follow close behind it. 

Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown is reporting 269, while Woburn has 259.* 

As cases continue to rise throughout Toronto, Mayor John Tory has been pleading with residents to stay home this New Year's. 

The City also states that more measures are set to be announced next week in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19.
