A Toronto Company Will Pay You $18 An Hour To Check People’s Temperature

No experience is required to apply.
Contributing Writer

Get your resume ready! If you're someone who loves helping others and making some extra cash, this Toronto job is hiring. You can make up to $18 an hour and all you need to do is take other people's temperature.

Adecco Canada is currently offering residents above minimum wage to make sure that those entering the building don't have a fever.

If hired, workers will be expected to screen large crowds of people in a “friendly and warm” manner, while also directing and guiding social distancing measures.

You'll also be expected to keep a headcount so if you’re really bad at math this might not be the gig for you.

According to the job posting, the openings vary from part-time to full-time, and have morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

While no experience is required to land yourself this job, there are a few things that'll make your resume stand out.

The company is looking for someone who knows how to use personal protective equipment and is good at interacting with people.

Having a medical background is an asset, but training will be provided for those who get hired.

If you meet all of the criteria and are looking to make some extra cash, the company asks that you submit your resume through their website.

However, if you aren't ready to take a job out on the field, there are also tons of opportunities to work from home.

From an online English tutor to a call centre agent, there are quite a few jobs around Toronto where you don't need to change out of your pyjamas to earn some cash.

If you have the right skill set, some of these jobs will even pay over $100,000 a year.
