Calling all foodies! Toronto’s first drive-thru food truck festival is getting ready to launch on June 19 and you can bet it’s going to be a good trucking time. So bust out those stretchy pants because the vendor selection is sure to make your mouth water.

The brand new Street Eats Market will be held at Yorkdale Shopping Centre this coming weekend, from Friday, June 19 to Saturday, June 20.

The delicious two-day event will feature eats from some of the best trucks in the city including (deep breath) Eva’s Original Chimney, Jerk Brothers, Beaver Tails, Choco Churros, Meltwich, The Holy Grill, Johnny Rocco’s Pizza Wagon, and more.

Yum!

So how does the drive-thru element work?

In order for the festival to run as smoothly as possible, all food orders will be made and paid for in advance on the Street Eats Market website.

Food pickups will then be scheduled in 15-minute intervals to avoid massive lines.

After providing your licence plate number in advance, you will be guided to your pick-up area where the food will be placed on a high table outside of your vehicle.

Earlier this month, Toronto Mayor John Tory gave licenced food trucks the go-ahead to hit the city streets again.

Everyone loves a little street meat, but if you’re looking for those festival vibes too, then Street Eats Market is the place to be.

According to a press release shared with Narcity, this is the first and only event of its kind currently approved to open in Ontario.

It’s important to remember that eating on the premise is not currently allowed.

As Ontario looks to move into phase two, more vendors may be added to the market for future events.

Though, the market’s focus is still on health and safety, according to the release.

“The market already knows it can’t service everyone since it requires a vehicle for pick up but it’s important to remember that the health and safety of the public, vendors and staff are priority as we venture into new territory with events in this new era," reads the release.

Meanwhile, 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to Baycrest Hospital, so you'll be munching away for a good cause, too.

So, here are your weekend plans!
