If you're looking for a fun adventure near the city, this conservation area is worth a road trip. You can unleash your inner hobbit as you hike your way through majestic landscapes and past beautiful natural wonders.

Located in Dundas, this dreamy destination is just an hour away from Toronto.

Tew Falls is an enchanting ribbon waterfall tucked away in Spencer Gorge Conservation Area. The cascade tumbles 41 metres over the escarpment and is located along the Dundas Peak & Tew Falls Loop. The hike to the waterfall from the parking lot is just 5 minutes, so you don't have to go far in order to enjoy this natural wonder.

You can take in the stunning views from two lookout platforms just off the Bruce Trail.

Once you've enjoyed the scenery, you can continue on to Dundas Peak. This magnificent lookout spot gazes over small towns and a lush valley filled with trees.

This hiking spot can get busy, so you'll need to make an online reservation if visiting during a long weekend between May and September or during fall colours.
