The darkest days are over — as of today, Ontarians can finally return to their favourite spots for affordable clothes and home goods.

Shoppers who have been craving their Winners and HomeSense fix for far too long are waiting in line for the stores to finally open at 15% capacity, per Ontario's rules for step one of reopening.

The line outside of this Winners store in downtown Toronto seemed to be never-ending.

A Twitter user based in Ottawa shared this snap of the line outside of a HomeSense store.

According to this reporter at CBC Metro Morning, the first shopper in line at the HomeSense on Spadina had been waiting for an hour and a half.

This Twitter user aptly described the energy of today's Winners reopening, which is probably giving people jitters like it's Game 7 of the Leafs vs. Habs playoff battle.

This was the scene outside of the Winners and HomeSense in Vaughan's Centre Street Plaza on Friday morning, which had a lineup around the corner.

This Instagram user was not impressed by the line outside of a Winners store in Hamilton. It's probably only a matter of time until people show up with lawn chairs like they did last year.
