The World's Best Restaurants Were Just Revealed & 7 Glamorous Toronto Spots Made The List

Toronto's food scene has been recognized by many diners around the world, and another prestigious global list just added several restaurants from the 6ix to its recommendations for 2024.

La Liste, a France-based food guide, just shared the world's best 1,000 restaurants for 2024 and 19 Canadian restaurants made the list, including many spots in Toronto.

"Based on the compilation of thousands of publications, hundreds of guidebooks, and millions of online reviews, La Liste offers the world's best restaurant and hotel selection at your fingertips wherever you go," they stated on their website.

The list of the best 1,000 spots in the world is ranked by a "La Liste score," which organizers develop from various customer and publication reviews.

Here are the seven best restaurants in Toronto according to La Lista, along with their scores in the 2024 guide:

  • Alo — 96.50%
  • Edulis — 96.00%
  • Don Alfonso 1890 — 83.50%
  • Canoe Restaurant and Bar — 80.00%
  • Osteria Giulia — 77.50%
  • Scaramouche — 77%
  • Buca Osteria & Bar — 75.00%
