If you want a restaurant to set a mood, then look no further than this Vancouver Island spot, which was just named one of the best date night restaurants in the world.

Trip Advisor's Travellers' Choice Awards came out, and when it comes to date night spots they gathered up highly reviewed restaurants from around the world to make their list.

"Whether it’s the stunning backdrop or the cosy vibe, something about these restaurants really sets the mood for a night of wining and dining," it said.

Pluvio Restaurant was recognized as one of the best spots to go, coming in at 23rd on the list. It also earned a spot on their fine dining list.

It's clear why this place earned lots of praise. The beautiful town of Ucluelet surrounds it, offering up a slow-paced and stunning setting.

Being tucked away in the small town just adds to the romance factor of Pluvio. They even have rooms above the restaurant where you can stay, to make a romantic getaway out of a visit here.

The food looks incredible, and will impress any dates out there.

After enjoying a meal made with local products and foraged ingredients you can go and explore the natural wonder of the costal area.

While in the summer the area — close to the famous town of Tofino — is super popular, the off-season offers up a more low-key vibe. It's the perfect time to cozy up and enjoy your romantic getaway.
