Are you itching to scratch another spot off your bucket list? You might not be able to fly to California to see the famous Golden Gate Bridge right now. But this super cute harbour town in Vancouver is like a trip to San Francisco's famous Fisherman's Wharf.

While the weather is nice, you need to plan a road trip to Steveston Harbour. The quaint waterfront area is only a 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver.

It is a prime example of how life is better next to the water.

Just like in San Francisco, our local pier is bustling with eye-catching sights and tasty bites. Walking around, you'll find plenty of charming shops and cafes to explore.

If you love seafood, you'll love it here. You can buy a seafood feast without breaking the bank.

Without question, you won't want to miss filling up on the best fish and chips you've ever tasted. The fresh fish comes in daily from the Pacific Ocean.

Depending on the time of year, there is a different featured fish. For example, from July through September it's the prime time for Sockeye salmon.

Steveston Harbour is a fun spot to go for the afternoon with your BFF. The two of you can explore all the sights while you try some of the many flavours of soft-serve ice cream.

If you aren't in a hurry, you can book a or harbour tour. Or you can leisurely stroll and watch the boats sail by in all sizes and colours.

One of the most eye-catching sights is the colourful stilt houses that hover over the water. They make for a cute photo, and you can even explore inside them.

Are you now craving seafood? Thankfully Steveston Harbour is just a short commute away, so why not make plans to go this weekend.
