Sabrina Carpenter totally gushed about Vancouver and said it's the 'superior' Canadian city

"Don't tell the other ones I said that!"

Vancouverites just got the recognition they didn't know they needed, and something to hold over the heads of Torontonians for life — because Sabrina Carpenter likes them more. After performing in Toronto and Montreal, Sabrina dubbed the West Coast city as the "superior" Canadian spot.

On her last Canadian tour stop earlier this week, Carpenter praised Vancouver and the people in it, but not just out of nowhere. Carpenter explained her Canadian connection to her fans and why she holds Vancouver near and dear to her heart.

A TikTok from her show, which happened on November 4, showed her sitting down and having a little chat with her fans.

"Vancouver I go way back with you. I don't think you understand how far I go back with Vancouver," Carpenter said.

She went on to explain that she first came to the West Coast city when she was 13 and came back often to work, guessing that collectively she "probably lived here for about six months in total."

The sold-out crowd went wild when she shouted out local places like Robson Street and Squamish. "I've always been so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and kind the people were here," she added.

Carpenter went on to say that although there are nine US shows left, this was her last Canadian one and she's happy to end it in Vancouver.

Ending in Vancouver feels like the best way to say goodbye to Canada, she said, "cause you guys are just like superior." She quickly warned the audience to keep her praise under wraps, saying: "Don't tell the other ones I said that!"

"I can't trust any of ya'll. Ya'll are gonna post that. It's okay," she added. Of course, she was right. Vancouver pride knows no bounds.

Another part of the show proved how thoroughly she knows the city, because as any local can attest to, the rain is the go-to complaint. She had some fun with it though.
