Seven Metro Vancouver Schools Reported COVID-19 Exposures Since Class Started

Most were in one school district.

We're halfway into September and there are already multiple COVID-19 exposures at schools in B.C. and at least seven Metro Vancouver schools have them so far.

Fraser Health is reporting exposures online and there are five schools in Surrey and one in Delta on their list.

A notification does not mean your child has been exposed to COVID-19.

There’s also been one noted at a private school in West Vancouver.

They took place at different times with the earliest one recorded on Tuesday, September 1 and the latest one recorded on Friday, September 11. 

According to Fraser Health, if there has been an exposure then kids should still go to school unless they've been otherwise directed by public health or school officials.
